YAY me.. I passed all my uni subjects last semester.

General

I am at Duncan in Raxual at the moment. Sitting in the dark writting this post the power just went out. Which is kind of fun. It’s rainning outside again and I left my raincoat back at my house. Oh well, the powers back. So I can see properly again.

It took a long time to get to here. Long boring train trip. Read Harry Potter Books 1 and 2 and got started on the God Of Small Things(I brought it in Delhi cause someone told me I had to).

I’m sharing a house here with an Americian. His pretty nice, the house is quite small though. My bed is in the main living area, which is okay but takes some getting used too. It rains a lot here. In fact the State of Bihar is pretty baddly flooded at the momment.

I’ve got introduced to lots of people. Most of whom I can’t remember the names of. The main guy I am helping train here is pretty quick, which is nice.

Anyway I might go now.

Today I leave Hebertpur for Delhi. Tomorrow I leave for Raxual. Friday I get to Raxual. It is going to be one hell of a long trip. I don’t like travelling for that long on trains. 8 hours is about my max enjoyable train trip. If you have a buddy it’s okay, but I am going solo :-(.

I am looking forward to getting to stay in one place for a decent amount of time. I hate packing suitcases. Though I am getting much better at it. I am starting to really understand the virtues of folding clothes.

Anyway Hebertpur has been fun. People have been good, wonder whether I’ll miss them. It’s only been a week but feels like longer. Oh and I actually managed to fix one whole computer whilst I have been here. How good am I?

I just called about 5 different people and none of them answered there stinking phones. NOT HAPPY!! Oh well.

Well I’ve been in Herbertpur now for 3 days. It’s been pretty good. Very overwhelming at first, but more easy to deal with now. I’ve found myself a couple of Western friends which is nice. I am starting to enjoy myself. The food is not wonderful here but that’s not why I am here. Also doing some useful stuff now.

Went and saw a local residents drift wood collection, not as dull as it seems. It was a huge collection of drift wood all polished up and labeled. (in Hindi though). I’d blog more but the internet is just too damn slow here.

Here I am sitting in the Pan Pacific Hotel in KL. I am very tired. But I am staying up for a little while. I have deliberated about whether to get the broadband Internet for about $15 Australian.

Saying goodbye at Sydney Airport was okay, I am going to miss everybody quite a bit. When I checked in at the airport I got a nice surprise. I was upgraded to business class. Which was nice and posh. I got lots of water which is what I needed. Didn’t get drunk though. Thought it would be bad for me to.

Arriving at KLIA I am already feeling a bit disoriented. The dunnies here have hoses. It’s all very new for me. I got conned by a bag carrier cause he had official looking stuff. I won’t make that mistake again.

I have no idea how I am going to deal with Delhi. It is going to be intense.

I am just finishing packing. I’m leaving on a jet plane very soon.

Two people so far have cancelled on me so far. My plans are rapaidly going down hill. One more person is not sure if they will make it. Grrr!! And no one replied to my blog invite. Not happy Jan.

The unsure person has now cancelled as well. At least two of the people have a good reason for not going (they are sick).

I just lodged my tax return. YAY.

I just went to the doctor and found out I have tonsillitis. Pretty bad timing if you ask me. Anyway I’ve got some drugs to help me out. I am still going to catch my plane on Sunday. Unless things get a whole lot worse of course.

Commy Dinner was really good tonight I had great fun. I am going to miss the commy people. But at least I have commy pub tommorow night.

I’ve had a pretty good birthday. Well the evening anyway. Not so sure about the exam and getting up early.

Today doesn’t feel like a birthday. I guess it might be the exam I had to sit. Followed by handing in forms. I should be excited about finishing my year at Uni but I am not really. Probably to stressed about all the things that have to be done between now and Sunday. Looking forward to Commy dinner tonight though.

Happy Birthday to me. For all those wondering what to get me I have a few pointers. If you can’t think of anything really funky, cash will be a most welcome. Of course there is no compulsion what so ever to buy me any gift at all. Even if you are coming to my party. Last year Jo did this and she ended up meeting and later going out with one of the best looking men in Australia. So don’t be shy.

Been sitting trying to work out how to do a stack of Maths needed for Transforms(Z Laplace and Fourier). Trying to answer questions with numerical answers only sucks. It’s given me a new feeling. Maths rage. I am getting quite upset at times. Yelling and grunting. Throwing pens and books around. I am going to feel a lot happier once this bloody exam is over.
