New Year Resolve
I am going to work harder and smarter at work this year. There is way too much to do. Think I am going to try longer days for a while, hope that works. Otherwise, it’s back to the cloning project.

Well I am back from my blogging holiday, and back in Melbourne.
My time in Sydney was long, sometimes intense but good.
It started early with the passing of my wonderful Nana, Sybil Aitken. I believe the world is a better place from her time on this the mortal coil, and I know at least that I am a better person because of her. The funeral and the lead up to it was brutal, I spoke which was hard but I am glad I did. The service was fine, afterwards the utter dispair and grief was broken with laughter as was how my Nana would of liked it.
After that there was Jo’s wonderful enagement party. Victor her partner is absolutely wonderful, and I am sure they will be very happy together.
The Holiday of Fun followed after the enagement party, which thankfully lived up to it’s name. A week by the water, with books, food, companions and games. It was good to catch up with some old friends, and get to know some of the newer crowd. I enjoyed the different sizes of the nights, and even the days as people came and went.
Working at the Sydney office the past few weeks (Only four days actually there) was really good. They are a good mob, and it was nice to hang out with Howie for a bit. Sadly as a result of the visit I have even more things to be watching out for at work in the national office.
Last Friday night I went to Van’s farewell, which was fun. I got into the city a bit early, and just walked around the Opera House, letting the beauty of Sydney’s habour was over me. Letting go of some stuff, and helpful in dealing with the issue of “home”. Sydney is a significant part of me, and so is India, but Melbourne is my home at this point in time.
Yesterday my housemate Ben and his partner came and picked me up from the airport. It was so nice, and made me feel like I am really at home. Last night I had my other housemates birthday/farewell party. It was on the roof at central house and the weather was beautiful.
Tonight I am seeing Cat Empire, which should be great. There are some other bands playing as well but I don’t know them.
Tomorrow I am back to work in Melbourne office. After three and half weeks, I have a feeling I might have a busy Monday. I’ll also get to meet the incoming National Director. So some stress is present. I have a lot of plans for this year, having had some time out of the office. I hope to really hit the ground running and knock over some stuff quickly.
Anyway I have finished my coffee, and breakfast so I think it might be time to head off.
Update
Decided to stay home instead tonight. Has been good to relax, think I’ll go to bed soon..
