T2 and fair trade

Went and asked someone in the new T2 store in Hornsby about fair trade and their imported teas. They had a somewhat reasonable position that fair trade tea wasn’t good enough quality yet, but that the owners try to choose good tea produces.

    Oooooh T2’s now in Hornsby? Fantastic news… hopefully we get some good fair trade coming through soon. There must be some out there, surely.

    Yes, with a T2day cafe as well.

    You just need to pick the country the tea is made in for now I guess.

    Do you live even remotely near Hornsby???

    I dont really understand their comment about fair trade not being good enough quality, to me all tea tastes the same, kind of like red wine.
    maybe thats just becasue i’m so uncultured
