There is no doubt whatever happens that your time has been worth something. For you personally it gave you the opportunity to step out and believe in your self and teh people of Nagaland. To actually get a gig like that in Australia would have been along way down the track. Big stuff like setting up a whole institution will always be full of political stuff and tooing and frowing. The Desert Peoples centre has taken over ten years to get from concept to teh building of buildings. The building was on the budget for four years before they actually turned a sod. Its been a bit of a joke here but the fact is its still happening and now I have a role in its development. Thats what scares me. Someone who was never even thought of for all of those ten years. And finally you've been an inspiration to others in the way you've gone about your part of the task.
