UNICEF’s latest report says that the number of children dying every year has dropped to less then 10 million a year. This is over a fifty percent drop from the 60’s. Read more about it here.

Sadly, though, not fast enough to achieve the Millennium Development Goal to reduce child mortality by 2/3 by 2015. It’s clear the world can make progress, now we need to scale up what works.
