Men still earn more then women in Australia based on this report. Makes me a bit sad.

While women want to raise children they are always going to have a lower average income than men. I don’t think these are the statistics we should be looking at to work out if there is wage discrimination or not. I’m actually amazed at how close women are.
I agree that raising children does have an impact on wages. I am not sure how we work out if there is wage discrimination. I still think there is, but I’d need to know more about the stats used in this case to see more fully.
