We said goodbye to Muni, who was our cleaner. It’s funny how much of a part of life in Delhi she has been, especially given that she only came two days a week for a few hours. I think we are going to miss her. She was really sad today saying goodbye. I think she cheered up a bit when she started to look for stuff of ours that she could take as a parting gift. I’m feeling a bit sad leaving Delhi and our home here.
Tomorrow though it’s off to new adventures in Nagaland which should be fun, or at least more life experience.
I booked my tickets today. Rather exciting. Should be nice compensation for missing U2 and Franti this year. Who knows, maybe Franti will play.
Today is a sad day for me. U2 are finally playing in Sydney again and here I am in New Delhi. I know too that my friends will be talking about the experience for years to come. Some times service costs too much. I do hope I get a U2 karmic reward someday.
It seems like our esteemed leader John Howard hasn’t got the message about Iraq yet. He seems to still be singing from the old Stay The Course hymn book of Bush, refusing to even acknowledge that there would be a fundamental change of course in Iraq now. We have lost Mr Howard, it’s time to go home.
I am really really looking forward to watching Mr Howard pretend that the plan was always to leave before “the job is finished.”
Well now that WiFi seems to have vanished from Barista I have been forced to undertake more radical measures. I am now enjoying wireless internet through my mobile phone in Barista South Ex. I am going to miss the coffee shops.
Yay for Americans getting out and voting. I do hope the democrats impose some checks and balances on George W, and find a way to get the troops out of Iraq.
Please vote for change today. I am sick of the violence in Iraq. I am sick of George Bush having so much power. Please restore the checks and balances to your political process. Too many people have died because of the evil of War. Make a public statement to the world by not voting Republican.
Thank you.
Tiffany has a link to a good debunking of some of the Republican myths.
Last night I dreamt that George Bush resigned due to public presure. I was talking to him afterwards and he was quite humble. It was nice.
How did this group of people which I am a part of get to be so powerful?
Surely someone is going to work out that were not really that strong or rich or clever one day.
Please please strip us of our power, and while your at it can you please rid of the white upper class men as well.
