Commonwealth Games

Tuesday, March 21st, 2006

Maybe Australia should be broken up into States for the Commonwealth Games. I think that would make it a little fairer.. Who really needs an event where one country dominates by such a huge margin.

Blog

Sunday, March 19th, 2006

Well I am here in my abode trying to think of what to blog. The guy I am working and living with is a pretty nice chap. Who kindly lent me his phone so I could blog. I am going alright at the moment. There are so many things about Delhi that I love. The colours, the noise, the shear volume of people, the anarchy which the area seems to thrive on. It is just so alive.

I had a great day out yesterday. I even had some Momos which are no real match for Dosas in my book. I think I am going to have Dosas a bit this week at work. I have some pretty key meeting in the next couple of days.

However inspite of all this I am feeling a little home sick at the moment. A part of me wonders what I am doing here but you get that.

Good but tired

Saturday, March 18th, 2006

Had a good day today. Went out for lunch at someones house and out to this place called Dilli Hut with a family I know. They were both good fun. Great to catch up with people I hadn’t seen since my last trip.

My Internet is still slow and I don’t have a local SIM. I think I’ll fix that up tommorow.

In Delhi Safe and Sound

Emotions galore.

Friday, March 17th, 2006

This week has been emotional for me. No one emotion lots really. When I arrived at Singapore airport just a little while ago I felt really sad but then after getting through immigration I felt excited. On the way to the airport in the taxi I felt lonely. Solo travel can be a bit hard. Good thing I am able to take myself out on dates to nice restraunts. I guess I’m pretty lucky cause I really am a hot date.

Friday, March 17th, 2006

I am writting this post as I eat breakfast looking out at some of Singapore. I feel a lot better for the 10 hours sleep.

Odly my Sydney sleeping paterns of choice fit quite nicely with more convential sleeping partners when you add 3 hours to the time..

I am uploading some photos to my photo gallery media.onegeek.net.

Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realised
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, rain down on he
So let it be
So let it be
Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realised
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, let it rain
Rain down on he

Cleaning my desk out

Tuesday, March 14th, 2006

It’s fun but kind of sad I am cleaning out my desk at work. Today should be my last day working here. A phase of my life is almost over.

God save the Queen

Tuesday, March 14th, 2006

Yes that’s right. I am paying homage to the Queen. She spoke out in an important speech about HIV/AIDS and the needless suffering it is causing.
