God’s love.
You have this (I believe anyway) all powerful creator being who for whatever reason desires personal relationship with humans.
Not only that but God wants real love from people. God doesn’t manipulate us into love. It would be so damn easy for God to force us into loving Him/Her. But then of course it wouldn’t be real.
Some days I send more emails to myself then I do to anyone else.
If the goverment passes the IR laws:
Imagine several hundred thousand workers striking until the IR laws were revoked.
I wonder if it would work. It would be kind of fun to have rolling strikes across the board in Australia.
I love the idea of civil disobedience.
I guess I’m a bit of an anarchist.
I have learnt too much about qmail today from trying to restore email accounts from a crashed server.
Oh well.
Come join me in celebrating Sam’s birthday tonight at dosa club.

Did my oral exam today. It was easy and went really quickly. All anti-climatic.
Hung out with Mil, Martin and Gem after. I like them a lot. Martin made me some fantastic Peruvian seafood for me. He’s a good cook.
Just got an oral exam tomorrow at 10am and then a thesis next year and I am done with the whole uni thing.
Which is the bigger threat to the Australian way of life?
Terrorists or the Industrial Relations reforms?
If terrorists happened to somehow strike one of our major cities then we’d faced increased security and some increased fear. A little change.
When the IR reforms come into effect millions of Australians will be dis-empowered.
Working class mothers and fathers will be much worse off I’m sure. The five day working week will be a thing of the past. Job security for anyone employed in the small-medium business sectors will be a thing of the past. And I am betting that there will be lots of little shell companies employing 99 people from next year on, enabling them to bypass unfair dismisal laws. Wages may drop and hours worked will probably increase.
So less free time for people and less money..
Who get’s the benifits from these new laws?
Business. Will they pass them on?
I doubt it. More money to the rich less to the poor.
There is a fantastic website made by the federal government called National Public Toliet Map. It even has a trip planer which identifies different toliets on the way. It’s part of the National Continence Management Strategy.
I don’t want to go to the CSD dinner on Friday Night. People may be hostille and it’s really just designed to be a drinking night from what I can work out.
And behold I change one bit XBUF from 0 to 1 in the messages I have been sending my tuner cards and suddenly AM radio comes through nice and clearly.
I declare today a day of for David.
I think I might go to the cinema other then that I don’t know what else I shall do.
It feels good to have a real day off and not be sick.
If George W Bush is condoning torture by US forces and the CIA, which it seems he is, does that make him a war criminal?
