Wonder if you mind sharing some of your experience. I will be in Pune for 2 weeks and then have some time to explore. I see Raxual is an entry point to Nepal and was thinking about going to Kathmandu as part of the trip. Any good suggestions geting from Pune to Raxual and then perhaps on to Kathmandu. Looks like you started on the train. Where'd you start from and how long is a "Long boring train trip". If you have some good insight I would enjoy hearing back from you.
