Prenuptial

March 28th, 2004

I think that if I were to get married I would like to have a prenuptial aggreement.

It would be a very simple document stating that in the case of a divorce, one third of our total acquired wealth, would go to my former wife, and one third to me. The remaining third would go to a charitable organisation. I really like the idea of making it so that in the case of divorce there would be a finicial acknowledgement that seperated we are less. Plus it’s also got the nice symbolism of God having an equal share in our relationship.

What do my readers think?

Dont ever get divorced.. at least dont have any aim of getting divorced!!

If you cant find the soulmate or meant partner, i rekon stay single and live life. Be slow.. sure.. and prey about it.. never jump in too quickly. Always healthy to step back and watch. You have got good intentions in your words but.

It is not about intent. It is about an attempt to finicialy recognise the cost of divorce. I am not planning on ever getting divorced. It’s just an idea I came up with about how to make marriage more significant.
