I did a geek test.

Which OS are You?
My fellow bloggers Tom Howie, Jo and Sal went to hear Steve play at Club Acustica (Helen also came but she doesn’t have a blog so she is not a fellow blogger.) The guys(me Tom and Howie) meet the Girls(Jo, Sal and Helen) at Waverton station. Everyone was running late. anyway we caught a train from Waverton to Town Hall and then another train to Kings Cross. Whilst waiting for the train to the cross we were a little silly and got some clasic looks, we had to wait a while for our train, but it came eventually.
Then we went to the Club and found Steve hadn’t started playing yet which was good but the venue had a cover charge which sucked. Gemma arrived and then shortly after Steve started playing. He had another guitarist and a drumer with him for this show. They played really well and sounded good problem was they only played about 5 songs. The place had a funky look to it which was good. After Steve finished playing we sat around till a bit after midnight talking and listening to the next act (Mary Anne I think it was).
We then walked to King Cross Station to find it closed so we walked to Town Hall Station which was also closed. Howie thought it was about a 15 minute walk and Tom thought it was a 50 minute walk. It took about 40 minutes but that was mainly due to prancy about and being laid back. We then waited at Town Hall Station for a wonderfull Nightrider bus. Remember how we parked at Waverton well the night rider bus went straight through Waverton and Wollstonecraft so we ended up at St Lenoads. And we had another walk back to the cars at Waverton. It was a fun walk. Not much trafic so we could walk in the middle of the road. Tom and Howie played drag racer on the highway at a set of trafic lights.
When we got to the cars we parted, Tom Howie Sal and I in the van of fun, and Helen and Jo in a different car. I got droped of at home 2 hours and 10 minutes from when we were at the top of William St in the Cross. The time was 2.45am.

Every time I fly now I try and listen to a bit of U2. It’s good music to fly by.
Over 1600km in 18 hours today for me.
Your meere 700km is nothing
I am like way more hardcore then you. You have no idea what a working trip is. I caught one of the first flights out of Sydney and one of the last back to Sydney. Got to Sydney airport in 35min. Worked on two locos all day one of which was suspended a meter up in the air with no power. We only stoped for about 30 minutes for lunch.
We finished just in time to book the last 2 seats on the last two flights. I rushed into the airport and got to the secure side only to find my plane wasn’t leaving for a while. Couldn’t get any dinner on the secure side so I settled for a cookie and a Coke Budy. Once on board my plane the flight attends were full of mirth, there was even an engament announced between two crew members.
The food service started, got about three rows from me and a woman fainted in the toliets. Food service delayed while they helped out the woman. Eventually got to purches a burbon and coke and a packet of pringles. Had to skull down my drink because we were starting landing about 2 minutes after I got served. Didn’t even get to eat my pringles which were my dinner. I never did get my dinner. Killer air presure in my ears as we landed. Picked up my 2 suitcases and waited for my Dad on the other flight. Then we drove home. We eventually got there.
So who had a tougher time me or Tom?
Back home now. I am so very tired. Can’t bearly see the bloody screen. Stuff pretty much worked in the end. 18 hour days aren’t much fun.
I am blogging from the Qantas Club, pretty posh. It is rather early. I am usually asleep for another couple of hours. We made it to the Sydney airport without a single trafic light and made it to the car park in about 35 minutes. Pretty cool hey. Oh well I am off to Melbourne soon to visit Altona and try to get a system working. We shall see.
Yeah I am back to footboot. Good work Ryan.
I went to Turrazone first off. It was alright the kids were a bit roudy and I got a bit of a headache. I was invited afterwards to stay for OKS which is a fortnightly young guys group. I stayed there for about 45 minutes. They were playing Halo on networked XBox’s and a couple of people went of to play cricket. I just don’t find watching video games exciting anymore. It was fairly dull for me I don’t know guy activities just don’t interest me much anymore. I am far more into just talking and eating.
The chicks have CCC which sounds far more interesting, they had a regresive dinner. I actually don’t like the whole split up guys and girls thing. I find groups of guy just generally boring, there are enough guy groups in engineering. Don’t get me wrong I love spending time with my guy friends, just groups of aquantence level guys bore me.
Also last night I was told that I had a choice of doing welcoming, prayer, or reading at next Sunday’s service. I think someone’s decide to integrate me.
Anyway after leaving OK’s I went to Hornsby and got some food, wine and gelatoo. Then I had a night in by myself watching Buffy and eating food and drinking wine. It was good stuff. I like being at home all by myself. My parrents are away this weekend which is good.
I am firmly and utterly against the death penalty being introduced in Australia. I think that people miss the point. The death penalty is about revenge not justice. It is about making the people who made you suffer, suffer in front of a crowd. I also have no problem with the cusshy nature of gaols. I think people think that gaol is comfortable need to get their heads checked. The idea of gaol at least in my opion is a) to protect the general populous from dangerous peopler and b) to give people time to contemplate their crimes and hopefully give them a chance to repent and change.
I understand that my objective b may rarely be meet but I still think it’s important. Got any more ideas of what prisions should achieve let us know. Comment.
I heard someone today blame themselves for not praying hard enough for something bad not to happen. That therefore it was their fault that it happened.
