One Geek

Well today I went shopping. I got myself the new Radiohead CD and a new 80 GB hard drive. It is a nice and quite hard drive. Anyway I am installing RedHat 9 into my VMWare virtual machine.

It’s my birthday today. I am now offically 21 years old. Hurrah for me. Anyway I think today will be a nice day. I am going up to Lawson in a while to visit my Nana and Pop. I like them a lot.

Well my party went really well. People came from afar to celebrate me. Tom and Howie. The video made many people laugh. Though thankfully most of the footage was quite old and so wasn’t quite as embaracing as it could have been. Some of us went on to see The Hulk which in the tradition of birthday movies wasn’t that great. Then we ate ourselves silly at Bar Reggio. They kept on bringing out food all night long. It was good Italian food. Garlic bread and garlic pizza, salad, pizza pasta and then there was also the free flowing wine. Anyway it was really nice.
After the dinner we proggresed home. The elect came back to my house and watched a dvd (being me and the dvd being Buffy Season 4 Pangs).

Anyway I’d like to thank everyone who came especially Jo who is no longer a stranger.

My exams are finished!
I got Harry Potter yesterday and finished reading it at about 2.30am.

It’s my party today. I had better go and organise stuff.

I am so sick of studying I just don’t care anymore. It’s hard to get motivated for an exam in a subject where you don’t even need to sit the final.

I think Telstra should be fully privatised but not in the way the goverment wants.

I think that the PSTN network and all the landline inferstructure other then Telstra’s GSM and CDMA network should be transefered to a goverment owned company. Then we the people can controll our inferstructure. And the Telecom’s market place can have fair compition.

All the rest of Telstra can be sold. I don’t care about it.

I think men lead themselves on.
I think that sanity doesn’t exist.
I think that real love is not a game.
I think that love is best left undefined.

I think that women rock. I think that love is a many splendored thing. I KNOW that some women and some men eat macca’s. Just take a look at Hornsby food court. I think that payment on dates should be a non issue. I think that everyone is a unique and beautiful snowflake. I don’t think that we are the all singing all dancing crap of the earth.

I think love hurts. I think that love is bound to hurt. I reckon even God is hurt by his love for us. So what makes us think that we are any different. I think that it is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved. Love is great. I don’t think you can blame anyone else for your failed realationships. If you do that I don’t believe you will ever learn anything, or get into any better relationships.

Love is about putting others first.

True love does exisit. And true love waits. sorry personal joke. Anyway I think that all true love is, is genuine love.

Some love stories can never end happily. Others can. do your best to find the second catagory.

Embrace LOVE for all it brings. The JOY and PAIN.

2 is a magical number. It is because of that numer that I can write this text on the computer.

Oh well IDS was not a great exam. I did the design part a different way to the way they wanted. Hope I pass the dumb subject.

The hornsby water fountain now has a clock face again and can once more can be called a water clock.

I think millenium trains suck. They have annoncements about every 45 seconds about the next station. It is very excesive. I am certain that blind people don’t need to hear the station 3 times to work out where they are.

URE exam tonight was short I left about one and half hours early. It was okay asides from some stats I didn’t think should have been in there.

Installed a new cpu fan tonight found that my computer now hums less noisly. It’s good stuff. I had some trouble getting my new 512MB ram sim working but after switching slots it seems to be working okay now. Can’t really tell though. I got bored after loading about 400MB of programs into ram.
