I love University. Knowledge isn’t frowned upon. Geekdom helps you out in your everyday life. All those things you Wasted your time doing in high school are suddenly very valueable.

Oh well last IDS demo for which I helped out in was done today. I got a last minute call because something was not happening quite right. It must of got fixed because when I called back it was all done.

I was going to go to the doctor today for my ichy pussy toe. But apparently my Doc’s away until Tuesday and I don’t like the Bamoral Medical Center.

Don’t you love applications that crash when you close them.

I went into Uni again today. I helped Anna some more with her IDS. We actually got it working. She was going to demo it today but just missed out. Poor Anna she has to come into Uni on a Friday.
I went to SE which was a joke because our tutor wasn’t there. A couple of SE staff people were filling in but it wasn’t very good so I just bossed around my group and left.

I then went to find Anna to get the free drink she offered me. The UTS bar serves wine in a plastic cup. The ones like on the Water Cooler things. It didn’t taste the same. Glass all the was for me.

Then I went home on the train with Jay. The train was really jerky when stopping it was not good.

Anyway that’s enough details of my day. Hope Howie gets to read this soon.

Yesterday I went upto 2122A the IDS lab to see if someone was up there. I ended up staying for another 4 hours. I help 3 lovely people with their group individual assignment. Nina even got me a coke which was very nice of her and I was given some chocolate too. I like when people give you food and drink when your volunteering I think it is just a nice little token of apprection. Anyway 2 of them left and I was left to explain it to there Swedish friend. She made me stay with here special powers of persuation. Well actually she just kept asking questions and I never quite go the chance to leave without being rude.

I also did my ids pic demo. My lights flashed well I got my full 8 marks.

That was a good little ramble and if you look closely you can see I used some html tags. One day I might actually bother to learn html tags. It’s on my list of things to do, right next to learn how to use word proccessor better.

I saw Phone Booth tonight it was a good film.

It got me to thinking just then that life is a gift. It’s a gift that is designed to be shared. And even given away if it is nessasry. I want to give more of myself away.

I find giving things to friends and even people who have something to offer me very easy. It is much harder to give to those who you don’t particular like or who have commited crimes against you or yours.

I think that is what is so remarkable about the Jesus story. Jesus is giving up his time and ultimatly his life on earth not for his friends but for those who didn’t particuly like him and commited crimes against himself and God.

That a pretty good example of what we should do. But how do we ever hope to live up to such an example. It’s a question we should ask ourselves often. We should do our best but our best can never be enough.

I don’t think that matters much. I think the important thing is what is in ones heart. Which is why why is a very important question to ask oneself.

I don’t do a lot of good things for good reasons. And I do some horible things for good reasons. So what do you do?

Seize the bloody day. Live your life. Fight the good fight. ;Insert more cliches here. But in essence the only thing we can do is try to live our lives.

Ah comm networks is so borrring. I wonder whether I should go to commy dinner tonight? I supose I should.
I am waiting for Anna to finish her quiz so I can help her with IDS.
I like the telecomm labs. They are quite nice. They are in a cool room and there are a lot of computers. And it’s pin access so there is not as much overcrowding.

Anyway life is good.

Sorry for the long time between posts. I have been conserving internet for essential use only. due to it being 17 cents a MB at the moment.
Anyway I am sitting here at uni having left a crappy IDS lecture early. It is a complete and utter joke. A blatent waste of my time. The guy is talking about things he doesn’t understand. In a very boring and slow manner.
I am not a fan of IDS I can do the work though, so I might do quite well.

I got Buffy Season 4 for about $98. Which is very cheap. Thanks Target. I like Season 4. It’s a good season.
I should get back to work so good bye for now.

Well it’s 2 am and I’ve listened to another 2 cd’s since my last post. I think I will now call it a night. You really haven’t lived until you’ve spent nearly 12 hours straight on one assignment. I’d recomend it to no one. Anyway I am rambaling. Time to log off and get a little sleep before waking up early tommorow to do some more.

I like Dire Straights there the bomb. It is good working late lots of music you can listen too. I wonder how many cd’s left before I get to go to bed.

It has come to my attention that I have been a little mean to Minh. And that I have not been a very good SE team leader. sorry guys.

I am so sick of group work. It is so slow stupid and tedious. GRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
