I think I just lost my last post..Dogs. That’s not fair.. It was a good one too..

I am writting today from one of the nice imacs at uni.
I have had no internet at home and I am late for my lec
now. I don’t like it when the internet doesn’t work. Anyway I better go. I’ll post a real one soon

Now about the name One Blog One Geek. It was at the time meant to be like an epic “journey” but I’ve decided after Tom’s email it’s also a subconcious reference to U@

Good Morning. It is quite early this morning. I like waking up early sometimes apart from the old tiredness thing. I am typing now with my eyes closed. How damn cool am I? I’d like to thank my first two visiters you know who you are. Please come back many times.
I am listening to Van Morison at the moment. He is the dude. I’d like to thank Howie for introducing me properly to Van Morison. I’d also like to thank Tom for introducing me to Bon Jovi way back in the 80’s and early 90’s while the man was still cool. Anyway I really cant see too well so I might go. I wonder how many guards per people they’ll be this time at the airport. I don’t think you can beat Hornsby polices dog to officer ratio. Appartenly it takes ten office to watch one dog sniff people crotches for drugp. Seems kind of excesive. Anyway off to the airport.

I am now going live.. It’s quite exciting. Hi everone. I’d like to thank Ryan, Howie and Tom for teaching me the importance of blogging. I even put on web stats. So I’ll have stats from day one. How cool is that?? Anyway I better go now have to get up early to see my dear friend Emily Rose Hayes off at the airport. She’s leaving us for 6 months. To go to Peru and India and Germany..

Now for my first thoughts post.
I have been thinking that I don’t like war much… It’s pretty bad. I think though that through bad some good can come.. Does that mean that bad isn’t as powerful as good.. I hope so.. It’s kind of nice to think that good will whip bads butt any day of the week. Kind of like Superman. Unfortunatly though it seems to not be so easy to pick good and bad these days. Is the concept of the lesser evil really vaild or should we just always do what is “morally right” even though it might cause more harm to people.. I don’t know. All I know is I am pretty happy not to be leadying a country in these uncertain times.
I just like to say that I think these ” uncertain times ” aren’t more uncertain then the times before. It’s just an escuse for all the cruddy laws and stupid action we’re taking. I for one feel just as safe as I did before 9/11 and Bali. If you were to look at the stats I’d probably be about 0.00001 percent more likely to die. But because I got a fridge magnet telling me to I better stay alert but not alarmed.

Wow my first post. I am so excited. I decided to make a blog while walking home from Lesley’s place. I went up to hornsby today had a browse through borders and then meet Howie for hot chips and gravy from charkies. I love charkies. Howie and me then went over to Lesley’s place which is like a block from the park where Howie and me ate our chips. I like Lesleys unit it’s quite nice. We hung around talking there and then went to get some old jemaca rum and raisen chocalate.. It turned out to be mission imposible. We tried 5 suppermarkets of which 3 where open and 2 service stations one of which the car broke down at. So we had to hang out at the servo for like 45 minutes waiting for NRMA, which was kind of fun but also a bit dull. Apparently the car battery had died it was an “old” batery from 1996. Is it just me or is a 7 year life span not something we should accept. I hate the way stuff is designed to brake. Anyway I might go now.
